Training class introduction

The “2025 Conference on Neural Circuit Tracing and Modulation · Training Course and Frontiers in Acupuncture Research and Innovative Technologies” concluded successfully on May 30 in Shenzhen. This grand event focused on cutting-edge technologies in neuroscience and brought together outstanding scholars and industry experts actively engaged in neural circuit structure analysis and functional research. Participants conducted in-depth discussions on the latest scientific advances and explored their dynamic developments as well as broad prospects for applied translation.

This training course mainly covered sample preparation for VISoR imaging of mouse brains and synchronized flying-scan imaging of the whole mouse brain. The program included theoretical lectures and hands-on experimental training, and invited experts in the field to provide one-on-one guidance and answer participants’ questions.

Sample preparation and VISoR imaging process explanation

As one of the important organizers of this training class, Bineogen Technology Co., Ltd. deeply participated in the technical exchange and talent training sessions. In the practical course that received great attention from the trainees, Bineogen's senior lecturers, Teacher Wang and Teacher Huang, jointly presented the highly praised core course on "Mouse Whole Brain Sample Preparation".

Two experts systematically led the trainees to master the standardized operation technology of the whole process from sample embedding, precision sectioning, key clearing to final mounting through detailed on-site operation demonstrations, laying a solid practical foundation for the trainees' subsequent related independent research.

VISoRImaging process explanation

In the explanation of VISoR imaging technology, Bineogen Technology's technical expert, Teacher Wu, brought a deep experience of cutting-edge imaging technology to the trainees. He demonstrated the efficient and precise imaging process of the VISoR mouse whole brain synchronized flying scan device on site, intuitively showing the powerful capability of this technology in rapidly acquiring high-resolution whole brain 3D data, providing strong tool support for the efficient visualization research in neuroscience.

At the training site, the instructor attentively listened to the participants’ questions. When they encountered difficulties in experimental procedures, the instructor demonstrated the steps in detail using the relevant instruments; when they had questions about VISoR operation, the instructor guided them through hands-on practice. Through the Q&A exchanges, ideas were actively shared, interactions were lively, and the venue was filled with a strong academic atmosphere.

Training class summary

This training program combined discussions of cutting-edge theories with in-depth hands-on practice. It not only promoted knowledge sharing and technological integration within the field of neuroscience research, but also significantly enhanced participants’ practical skills in applying advanced technical methods. The successful event injected new momentum into the advancement of basic neuroscience research and technological translation in China, while also opening broader pathways for future interdisciplinary collaboration in exploring the mechanisms of neural regulation.
